ELECTRONIC HOME PROTECTOR

      The unit is used to protect house- hold appliances from high/low mains voltage . The unit is connected directly to the mains switch the domestic supply lines are connected to the output of the unit the unit has a current capacity of 30 amperes resistive load . The unit cuts the domestic supply when the voltage goes above 270 volts or below 150 volts . The supply is restored automatically when the voltage becomes normal . The unit is provided with a circuit breaker for protection against short circuit . The unit has a built in time delay circuit for protecting costly appliances during continious interruptions in the mains supply . Leds are provided to indicate the status of line voltage that is normal and output cut . A surge suppressor is also incorporated in the unit to neutralize surges.
