The unit consists of a RF readerwith a microcontroller card and LCD display. The unit reads a proximity card and stores the code in the memory. The unit can stores 6500 readings and has a PC connectivity for downloading the data on the computer. An extreamly user friendly software is provided along with the unit with which the attaindance details like days present , leaves , overtime , latematks are generated in the form of a report for each worker or a totally combined day wise report. Customised special software can also be supplied at an extra costfor total automatic calculations and report generation. The unit has a battery backup facility for memory and clock. The clock can be set from the PC. Normally the LCD display shows the company name on the top and date , month , year and time n hours , min and seconds on the bottom line. When the card is swiped the swipe indicator LED which normally red glows green and beeps for a second and card code is shown at the bottom line for few seconds.LCD again shows date and time. At the initialisation LCD shows details of memory used. When the memory is full an appropriate message is flashed to indicate the user to download the data.
    Assuming 30 workers and 6swipes/day/worker(incoming time , outgoing time , 2 swipes for lunch , 2 swipes for tea) the unit can store data for 36 days. The cards can be supplied with printed photo of worker and company details. The unit housed in a sturdy powder coated metal box with wall mounting facility. The unit works on a 230VAC supply. 12V battery operation can also be supplied at an extra cost.
